Snapshot: Room with a View

For 1201 Minnesota Street, the latest addition to Minnesota Street Project’s contemporary arts campus, we created a structure within a structure to present video works at a scale not possible in any other Bay Area public venue. To heighten visitors’ sense of anticipation, we set back the viewing gallery within the vast former warehouse and detailed it to read as a distinct object within the darkened interior. The space opened in May with Broken Spectre, Richard Mosse’s internationally acclaimed work.
