He writes: “The fact is, these public spaces aren’t simply decoration. They’re part of the civic infrastructure that makes a place more or less livable — not as obviously essential as roads or power lines, but critical all the same. We are honored to have had both of our YouTube workplace renovations recognized at the 2020 SARAs National Design Awards. These  projects were awarded alongside 33 other spaces across the country, with YouTube Office 1 receiving the Merit Award and YouTube Office 2 receiving the Excellence Award.
